  • and start with Jules Verne? :) Too often overlooked but is considered to be the father of the genre and rightfully so. Many of his books are coming back into print and you'll see a list of them over on axis of aevil :)

    • I may get around to good ol' Jules. I did read 20K Leagues at point in grade school. Well's was a rough contemporary, which satisfies my requirements. Although I like a good read, I've choosen a set of books that show the changing nature of Sci-Fi. It's kind of like a college class. The World Wars are a kind of gravity well that has affected many of the last century's (!) writers. That's what I'm tracking.
