  • There's amazingly active Transformers community out there on the net. They have conventions and everything. And fights over whether the new shows/toys are any good. And you can read the entire 80-issue comic book series online. (I personally own issues 1-6 and 80.) Some of the TF fanfiction is great reading.

Don't forget Voltron. Every episode had the same plot, but somehow we enjoyed it anyway.

    • Like djberg96 [perl.org], my favorite Transformer was Soundwave. I remember taking that bloody thing to school every day. I was really annoyed when I lost those little tape thingies (you know, the ones that turned into flying bird type deals but I'll be buggered if I can remember what they're called now).
      • Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ravage, Rumble, and Frenzy.

        I am pitiful.

I never owned a Soundwave, but I had two tapes.

I remember making paper versions of the Transformers in second grade. It wasn't just me; lots of kids did this, and had a real blast. I remember in particular making Soundwave once or twice.
