Not right about funding (Score:2)
In regards to the IRC complainer, I can't see how this would slow the project down. It's not like I, as grant manager, am in there telling people what to do (or not do). I just approve milestone payments as milestones are reached, and send reports to NLNet on Parrot progress.

I could have been more clear. No one involved with Parrot has received funding from TPF in at least a year, to my knowledge. Further, it looks as if there won't be any payment for the PDD milestones, if Allison finishes them, as she is ineligible to receive payment from TPF, as a boardmember.

I wouldn't necessarily describe either as racing along, but I believe that Parrot has made more externally visible progress in the past six months. That could be very much a product of my experience, however.
Thanks for saying it. (Score:1)
Once I survive this serious hepatitis that kept me chained to the hospital bed (which also explained the intense, mysterious drowsiness in the past couple months), I'll start repopulating the blog and new dev.pugscode.org [pugscode.org] workspace, and (of course) cutting releases.
That's all I can say right now.

You certainly have my well wishes.
Might it be possible to parallelize the release management? So far, that seems to be the biggest improvement in Parrot's progress. I wonder if something similar could benefit Pugs as well when life happens.

Why did I think we had a December release? What day is today? How many fingers am I holding up? Didn't I just take a vacation?
