  This reminds me of my friend Sheri who was in the Peace Corps in Ecuador, and was once explaining to the kids there that as you get away from the equator, sometimes the nights are longer and sometimes the days are longer. The kids insisted that no, it's always 12 hours of night, 12 of day, and that she was talking gibberish, as if suggesting that sometimes the moon is square.
  Stupid square moon.
