  • Yes yes, Ziggy, it's not a competition, but even in a friendly race it's nice not to come last.
    Well, sure. But even Python didn't come in last -- at least it made it to the finish line at a respectable position. ;-) Ruby (2) and Groovy (1) barely made the cut, falling far behind SOAP (100), CSS (97), CVS (80), XSLT (73), and even Lisp (4).

    Haskell and Smalltalk, on the other hand, well....

  • I would expect to see that perl very likely to be mentioned in the job description whenever the job is about unix/linux.
  • The jobs site down the hall [] is busier than ever (fwiw).

    (the front page used to be long enough to have jobs for several weeks; now it's several days...)
