    My own habit is much worse. When I'm too tired, I start replacing words with the term "thingy."

      • Indeed, I actually watched that thingy as a kid too, but only in german. I "learned" english (Futurama Original ftw!) only many years later.

        • They had always been "puffi" for me up until I wrote the post above, and I had to check. Incidentally, one of their creators (not Peyo) died just recently. There was some discussion in the italian comics newsgroup I regularly follow, along with a reminder of the oft repeated urban legend that it was a commie err... well... thingy for "educating" young minds. :-)
