sig generators (Score:1)
is a sig generator in email that looks at what you wrote
and chooses something apposite.
When I used to use taglines more often, I'd frequently be
spending a minute or so cycling through random ones until
I found one that was reasonably appropriate.

I have a file of about 120 quotes from Groo The Wanderer [groo.com] (the comic book by Sergio Aragonés [sergioaragones.com] and Mark Evanier [povonline.com]), and I've often been startled by how appropriate the random quote was. (Reviews and quotes can be found here [groo.com].)
But when it's not appropriate, I know where to grep to find a better one...
