  • I wonder how the people at the site you linked can be certain the photo was maniuplated from that specific original -- studio shoots consist of 100's of originals, they might have gotten her to stand up straighter, suck it in, and put on the woad between shots.

    • By superimposing the result over the source, in Photoshop.
      They line up perfectly, when the quoted rotations are made. If she'd changed position, the relative positions of her hips, shoulders and chin (amongst others) would have changed slightly, but they're exactly the same. The straps etc. hang in exactly the same way, except those moved by post-processing, in a reproducible manner, and the shadows are the same.
      That analysis of the image was generated by copying the transformations - there really isn't any doubt that 'A' is the source of 'B'.
      • ok, thanks. I guess I should have figured that the precise angles were based on a reconstruction, but that wasn't obvious on first reading.
