But...but...it has "Unit" in the name! It's like JUnit, but for Perl! Says so right there! "Unit!"

  I do suspect that drives some of its use. I know one company here in London which interviewed me and when I asked about their testing infrastructure, they told me they used PerlUnit. That's a huge turn-off for me. If a company is that clueless, I don't wanna work for 'em.
