There was a comment from wickline that the daily posting is actually less current than the CPAN uploads slashbox. However, stories in module news get archived, while slashboxes don't. Now that this is being posted automagically, it'll be nice in a few months or years from now to see how and where CPAN has grown.

  Right, the slashbox is updated every half hour or so. But it doesn't have descriptions, it won't get mailed to you, it doesn't get archived, ... um, the font size is smaller. :-)
