  • I know most projects like Catalyst have a page up with Success Stories of implementation. Is there a site where anyone can write about a significant job they got done using Perl? I'm not sure whether that's what you meant from the Proud to Use Perl site.

An example... if you are a visitor to the University of Oxford and get a one-time account for accessing the Internet, then everything from the account management system to the user log-in experience is Perl. I could write a few paragraphs about this.

    • I think that something along those lines would make a perfect category for PtUP. Obviously I wouldn't want to hand out author accounts to everyone who wanted to post a success story - but having an author who specialised in collating and publishing them would be a great idea.

Are you volunteering to take it on?

      • Yeah why not, I've probably got a tuit I can reassign :-)

I'll drop you an email to discuss further...

  • Let me know when it's going, so I can point to it from Perlbuzz.

    • Well we've got two new authors and one new post already - so I guess it's going again.

It would be great if you could plug it on Perlbuzz. I'm still hoping to add a few more authors too, so perhaps you could plug that as well.
