You haven't met Real Windows weenies, then. Not real MSCEs. They would sell their granny (and usually already have) to do more Windows.

I think we have one here. He was suggesting "upgrading" the Linux box to NT 4. He felt that even MS DOS 6 would be considered an upgrade. This is on his second day of scanning and patching after a Nachi worm outbreak in our office. Which, strangely, didn't touch our Linux boxes. Although it did screw us because work took down the entire internal network for a day (including expiring all the DHCP leases) so even or Linux boxes on the same segment couldn't communicate.
I don't know what this has cost us in lost productivity for the building, but we estimate >£250,000. When will people start to realise the true total cost of ownership associated with MS Windows?
