  • Is that an OR-red search? I tried a search for "Archive::Tar", which is a very specific search IMO, and it comes up with things like "Archive::Any::Tar", which is OK by me, but also things like "Archive::Zip", which doesn't even mention "Tar", or, oh horror, "HTML-TagReader".

    If you want to keep it that way, at least provide an option to switch it into an "AND" based search. "OR" based searches are, IMO, close to useless.

      I don't think the problem is OR vs AND, I think the new search engine is considering ":" to be a punctuation character, and therefore a word break.

      Regardless of wether or not AND/OR is the default, for smething like CPAN (where a large percentage of "Module" searches will include "::") ":" should be considered a word character
