Mason specifies prereqs in the standard Makefile.PL way. I kind of doubt the problems you're seeing are Mason's fault, but do feel free to send email to the mason-users list.

  I never thought it was, just that I was too inexperienced to figure out what was going wrong, actually. (The title was meant to indicate this, although it doesn't. It was meant to be "Nice MODULE!" the way Jerry Lewis would say "Nice LADY!", as if I'm bumbling around with the module, which I was.)
  I'll figure out what I'm doing wrong and get it working eventually. Mason sounds too juicy to pass up. :)
