Weird dreams and animals (Score:2)
On one of my many attempts to quit smoking, I tried the Patch (TM). There is a warning on this product not to wear it while sleeping as it may cause strange dreams. Well, one night I forgot to take off the patch and I had a dream about a town living in fear of a mass murdered killing off the children. It seems the couldn't manage to hunt down the wily culprit: a turkey.
To this day I wonder if it was just the patch or if there was something deeply symbolic that I just missed.

The reason you can't remember the "dream" is that you actually are a Cocker Spaniel who has fallen asleep and are now dreaming you are a human.
Nobody ever really remembers their waking life in their dreams, even Cocker Spaniels.
