  I have received a reponse from the maintainer and it looks as if a new fund drive will be launched shortly - this sounds promising.

    Or you could get them to create an XML version, or an RSS feed, or even a SOAP API. A SOAP API could be two way - not only could people write programs to find out the current status, but they could also write programs to make donations :-)
