  • Yes, I remember noticing once that wasn't registered (it still isn't) and getting excited about it for a few minutes before I figured out the first I is supposed to be silent, or something. ;)


    • Probably depends on native vs. non-native English speakers as well (i.e., how comfortable you are with contractions in English). If you tend to elide the `i' to create `there's' instead of `there is', then you'll probably go with TMTOWTDI. Of course, as with all statistics, individual samples may vary.
  • I like TIMTOWTDI better because it makes for an easier to pronounce acronym.
