http://search.cpan.org/~jesse/perl-5.11.0/ [cpan.org] has a big scary bold red "UNAUTHORIZED RELEASE" at the top and an "UNAUTHORIZED" next to the version number of all modules.

  This now has the less scary and quite appropriate "** DEVELOPER RELEASE **" annotation.
