  • I would have like to have heard this talk.

This book was popular in schools when I was at school, although I cannot remember much about it now.

But perhaps it was popular with my schools because I went to school in the village where Bunyan was born, Elstow, and then later attended a school named after him.

  • I read the book when I as a kid. I remembered some of the more well-known portions toward the beginning (Obstinate and Pliable, Slough of Despond). Perhaps I'll read it again.
  • We filmed it -- we don't have it converted yet, but we should be able to put the talk up on the web. A copy of Pilgrim' s Progress, with the etchings, [whatsaitht...ipture.com] is on the net.
  • Pretty cool, even though the images are kinda low-res. But is it art? :-)

I downloaded a QuickTime movie they have on the site, of some music with the images, it appears. But it hard-crashes QuickTime Player, so beware.

I plan on getting a Day Three of yapc writeup on the site tomorrow.
  • Kevin,

Were any of the other talks filmed/recorded? Like Damian's Quantum Superposition one?
