Alan Cox has written an interesting open letter about software patents and the EU elections. Basically he's arguing that in the UK you should vote tactically for either the Greens, or the UK Independance Party

Which fails to acknowledge that software patents are not the only political issue in the EU. And really, I'd rather bite my arm off than ever voting the Greens (at least the German ones).
