There are *lots* of people with only one name, and I don't just mean weirdos like you and Abigail. Trying to shoe-horn names into particular formats and fields Just Doesn't Work. So these days, I just ask for:
- Full name (eg David Cantrell);
- What you are known as (eg Evil Dave), and I might not ask that depending on context;
- How you should be addressed (eg Mr. Cantrell)
And then I get over-ruled by Da Boss who thinks that asking for these things (with examples!) is too confusing for the users.
