  • awesome feast names (check the source of the module for their list)

Something tells me that they are all jokes of some sort, although the only one that I spotted that I could translate was "St Lazare, gare" ('cos I know that St Lazare is a station in Paris.). "St Tupetu de Tupetu, organisateur de loteries" is completely lost on me (and babelfish [altavista.com])

    • It's an allusion to a poem by Tristan Corbière. In the poem, the lottery is more or less the destiny, grotesque style.

Lots of feasts are allusions to the works of Alfred Jarry -- although there are also some allusions to the surrealists, Louis-Ferdinand Celine, Gustave Flaubert, etc.
