I'm curious how this conference went. I think there must be a lot of Chinese Perl mongers, but I don't hear much about them.
Maybe it's because of the difference in language. Learning French opened up a new community of Perl mongueurs that I wouldn't have really been very conscious of before. I hope one day that my Chinese is good enough to do the same thing.
