Portable computing (Score:1)
Pepper Pad 3 [linuxdevices.com] -- though more expensive (USD640 from Newegg; USD688 from Amazon) than Nokia N800 -- seems more capable of general computing work. See also PepperWiki [chuma.org]. Keyboard divided around the screen is not very appealing to me.
What I really want is something like Sharp SL C-3000 [dynamism.com] (USD800 from Dynamism) in case I lose the functionality of one (1) of my hands (permanently or temporarily). "OQO Model 02" and "raon Everun" are other choices of mine. There are more small computer thingies there on Dynamism (namely in "PDA" & "Subnotebook" subsections) of course.
Mind you I haven't try any of the above.
