Maybe you'll find this useful [askask.com]. Except you have to use bluetooth instead of IrDA of course.

The answer to the question: "What do I need to allow my laptop surf the web via my new Bluetooth phone?" is "Quicklink for Macintosh", the googling of which is left as an exercise to the reader.
$40 USD and fifteen minutes later, I'm golden.

The installer does a great job of taking you by the hand, asking for your provider and phone model.
You probably want to verify with Cingular that you won't be paying an arm and a leg for internet access... I was shocked when I got the first phone bill after the first month!
