  • I watched the "Conference Presentation Judo" synchronised with the slides.

    He didn't do all the stuff that was in the notes and there was no bonus material; it was a little bit slow and I didn't get the jokes; I would have liked to see more XML; I didn't get any cake at breaktime and would it kill him to wear a tie. But other than that it was great. :-)

    I look forward to seeing the real thing someday.

      • The criticisms were just a tongue-in-cheek rehash of the things that dominus [perl.org] says that people complain about in presentation evaluations.

        And yes ties can kill. Especially when worn near rotating machinery.

        Scarves as well. Ask poor Isadora Duncan [aarrgghh.com]
