  • In the past, I've returned the documentation as the 'true' value:
    << '=cut';

    =head1 NAME --  Bla Bla

    ...

    =cut
    This gives a new meaning to if you don't get the documentation, your code is broken.
  • when

    1;

    got old, I started using

    42;

    but of course the answer isn't very much use without the question so now I just end with the following quandry

    "This statement is false.";
