Actually, I've been running Linux at home and work for over a year. This first term is going to cover things that I pretty much know, but I won't mind the refresher. It's a prerequisite for the next class, though. Networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NFS and Samba are covered. Those are skills that I really need to learn and sitting at home on a single computer working on personal programming projects and writing doesn't really exercise those :)
