How about Safari subscriptions/trials.
Low overhead, nothing for you to carry through baggage check and I'm sure some people will actually buy actual paper versions of books they preview. Some may even get hooked and renew the Safari trial when it runs out. Everbody's happy and both of your arms stay the same length; )

No, really. Go to safari.oreilly.com [oreilly.com] for your 14-day free trial. Everyone can have a 14-day free trial. There's a link on the right side of the homepage that says "Try Safari free for 14 days". :-)

Actually, I was thinking that if you were giving out door prizes, they'd be more along the lines of six months or a year. You know something snazzy they can't get just anywhere, but long enough to get 'em hooked.
