One interesting fact about this movie (Score:1)

... is that the directors have a pet peeve about movies with guns, which is that for all the shooting going on, there is never enough impacts of bullets. With the amount of shooting in a typical action/sci-fi movie like this, there should be crap all over the place.

And so they decided to do it "right". As a result, I believe this movie sets the all-time record for the number of bullet impact "squibs" used in a motion picture.

It's some rediculously enormous number, and I forgot the specifics, but some scenes in this movie use more squibs than other entire movies with comparable amounts of shooting.

Of course, that didn't prevent it from being shit. But it's one of my peeves as well, so I thought it was kind of refreshing in that regard.

  Also: the guy getting chopped in half. Tell me that everyone who saw this movie didn't see that coming about ten minutes earlier.
