  • Is the "friend of a friend" new? Seems to be newer than whatever version of slash Slashdot is running.

    And what in the world is eof.gif []? That's when your friend closes his end of the pipe and isn't going to send any more data? :)

    • I don't know what it means, but it goes right with a question I was wondering about. Do we also have Foe of a Friend, Friend of a Foe, Foe of a Foe? Then Friend of a Fan, Fan of a Foe, etc...? I can see the day when we start seeing a dozen of those icons lining up ;-)

      As for the version of Slash, we're supposedly guinea pigs here. Pudge tries new versions out on us before releasing them to the world iirc.
