You could put things like
- Conferences
- Major news stories (ponie, etc)
- Guru talks
- Releases
- CPAN growth and major new CPAN modules
- Applications ported, Converts, Success stories, etc
in it.

    Total lack of free time - I have 1 new CPAN module and 3 CPAN updates to finish and upload as well as an article I am working through.
