  • That's fantastic. I wish I'd started at the beginning of November (or heard about it earlier).

    I've just finished chapter 3 of 10, for 21,000 words. (It sounds like slacking, but I've only spent maybe 12 or 13 days working on it.)

    • There's always next year's novel. Don't sweat it.

      I felt underprepared the first year because I heard about it a week or so before November 1st. Little did I realize there were people signing up right up to the last week...!

      It's really nice to remember how much I like writing. Hopefully this will be my reintroduction to regular practice. (Last year didn't take, but I didn't finish last year, either.)
