  • I think I started reading DaveNet when he was profiled in Wired, back when Wired was still on the verge of being cool.

    I stopped reading Dave's rants or even paying attention to him when he chastised Apple for not taking his plan to turn around the company (freely offered by a passionate long-time developer, no less).

    When Dave played on his celebrity during the whole Amazon 1-click debacle, I just laughed at him (I was at the table having lunch with Tim O'Reilly when Jeff Bezos called Tim about the whole

      I read DaveNet back before I ever heard of Wired. And I first learned of DaveNet from someone who now WORKS FOR APPLE! Aren't YOU impressed? ;-) Yes, I rarely read his stuff, but someone pointed this out to me, and I decided for some reason that it was worth commenting on.
