Users of git or mercurial

Or mercurial? Is mercurial natively capable of talking git's protocol to a git server?

  Well, Mercurial's git support uses git itself for the repository access. I guess what I mean is that Mercurial users should be able to use this repository using Mercurial's convert extension.
