You don't greet someone like that when you don't have any kind of relationship. I bet it doesn't get past her filters because of that.

  We do have a prior relationship, of a sort. I've written to her a number of times on these matters, and she's responded to that correspondence. Actual responses too, not form letters. She knows who I am, and although I see your point, I don't think it applies in this case.

The statistics that Childwise, and filter vendors like Netclean, use to back up their case are also incredibly dubious [libertus.net]. Thankfully Netclean have cleaned up their act slightly [howtobeasy...gineer.com] (see comments from Irene et al) but the point remains that a lot of funding and political support comes from people suffering moral panic which is driven by both the continued propagation of these "laundered" figures, and the remarkably anachronistic attitude Australia's officials have towards media censorship. At first, I wanted to comment on the G'day but as you've mentioned in a reply on the comments, you have a prior acquittance with her, and I don't know how common the "G'day" greeting is in Australia.
