You got me interesting in trying my own:

You should just be able to untar it and put it under the p5w/skins directory.

Cool! Do I have your permission to commit it to the November repository?

Absolutely! It's not perfect, so it will need some adjustments as things go along.

Great! It is out custom to add people contributing to the project to the AUTHORS file, do I'll do that, if you don't mind.
As to adjustments, if you want access to the November repository, that can be arranged. Just tell me your github account, and I'll have you added.

You can add me (Michael Peters) to the authors file and my github account is mpeters. I'll probably be playing with the skin some and maybe add another one. And who knows I might even find some time to play around with Perl 6 :)

Your skin is now committed, your github commit bit flipped, and your name added to AUTHORS. Welcome aboard!

Sounds excellent. The new-skin branch is dedicated to this kind of work; I might look over things as well and do a commit or two.
And who knows I might even find some time to play around with Perl 6 :)
I have a feeling you will. :)
