Worries (Score:1)
From what I read, I'd be more worried about that "holding her breath" thing, than about the flexible joins. The latter will likely pass, or she'll get used to it, and learn to live with it, leading a very normal life. It's all a matter of muscle control.
But the former sounds like something that, even if it was ten times less grave, could still be the cause of a major stutter. But of course, I'm just a layman.

The journal seems to imply they have a probable solution to that problem as well.
Three cheers for Quinn; she's already got her own journal! I hope her daddy teaches her to program Perl, too. :)
