If you haven't, go see a doctor. Now. An EKG is quick and easy, if a bit chilly (I swear, they refridgerate the contact gel), and isn't a big deal. If you've got a heart problem it'll show up, and the sooner it's dealt with the better. (Before you die is usually the best time) If it's not a heart problem that'll show quickly too, in which case tagamet might be the right answer. Or, on the other hand, it might not be. Either way your doctor will have a better idea of it than you do.

  Maybe you're right.
  In the past, I've had chest pains from gas before that were more severe, but there are a few mitigating circumstances here -- I've gained about fifty pounds since January.
  I just can't help but feel like I'm overreacting, 'sall...
