Last week, we (Vienna.pm) started an effort to set up a single sign on system based on PAUSE [useperl.at]. We're not done yet, but maybe you might be interested in using that for auth in the future?

  Absolutely. There is another CPAN Testers website that I'm working on that requires a similar authentication method too, so it would be good to get it working for both :)
