The SliMP3 looks cool... except my appartment is not wired. And my laptop is noisy as hell. Is there a WiFi version of the device? Now that would be really neat!

  There's not, but they provide a pointer to a (relatively) cheap Linksys 802.11b bridge (model WET11; looks to be in the $100-120 range with a $10 rebate).

  As Fletch points out, there isn't. Their FAQ addresses this. Wireless tech still isn't at the point where they could keep the overall cost <$300.

  You could buy a Linksys Wireless Bridge [linksys.com] for it but that would set you back $100 or so.
