It looks like a good solution for some people, but since I do graphic design I tend to look at a lot of flash sites so it would probably be overkill for me. Maybe a block list option in addition to the white list would be a good choice for some.
Thanks for pointing it out though, maybe I'll start using different profiles to do my surfing, and use it for general browsing.
Adblock et al? (Score:2)
You may find AdBlock [mozdev.org] to be the solution to your problems. If you use Opera it has a similar filter technology built-in, but doesn't have a nice GUI to configure it. You can be selective and block mostly adverts, without out imparing site functionality. I don't know about Konqueror or Safari, but I assume it's possible there too. If you are unlucky enough to use IE, then I feel your pain...
