  • I registered my first couple of namespaces (July 2003) and they still don't feature :( This list is considered to outdated now, according to the Module Authors list. As it was being updated manually and all the cool kids now use search.cpan.org [cpan.org] these days, no-one seems to have been bothered with keeping it up to date.
    • I got Games::Bingo registered in May 2003 if I recall correctly - I simply registered to get on the module list - too bad if this no longer is practised :-/

      During registration you specify some flags indicating the status of your module etc.:

      These are:

      Development Stage

      Support Level

      Language Used

      Interface Style

      License

      A.S.O.


      This is all VERY useful information and I have met people having reservations about CPAN, simply because they cannot get a clear picture of the state of a module aso.

      So this information and registration could be put to good use in my opinion - eh, what do we need to do? should we do something about it?
