the Catalyst book (Score:0)
(note: I'd written a comment like this on perlbuzz [perlbuzz.com], but dropped it when it required registration)
FWIW, I actually thought the Catalyst book [jrock.us] was fairly well done[1]. Except for Chapter 7, which was ironically about testing, where there were an unseemly number of typos. Otherwise, I thought it was a decent intro for a Perl programmer who's interested in finding out what Catalyst is about.
[1] then again, I also thought Battlefield Earth [wikipedia.org] was kind of interesting
