  • Please keep up the good work. It's a great module and I use it aggregate cinema listings along with IMDB film information, and this all gets sent to me every Friday in a nice e-mail.

    I was also planning on creating a module to identify the films' trailers on [] and include that in my weekly e-mail too.

    • I'm glade to know that people use IMDB::Film! It's very good! I'll add some useful features (I hope they will be useful) soon. I'll try to add getting trailer from IMDB in next version if it'll be needed for somebody.
      Regards, Michael
  • Hmm... There's a IMDB::Film and a IMDB::Movie on the CPAN...

    Which should I use?

    • It's depending on you. I know that Jeffrey who is the author of IMDB::Movie uses IMDB::Film :)
      Regards, Michael
      • Yes, but I was hoping you'd say "use this because of that" or "use that because of this".

        How is someone who doesn't know any of those modules going to choose which to use? :-)

        • Ok, you are right. I'd like to say "Use IMDB::Film" because it gives you more features than IMDB::Movie like full plot, extra information about movie, information about movie's persons etc. Also, it allows to be inherited and add yourself methods easy. And the finally I'm planning add some new intersting features soon. So, I hope now you have enough information to make your choice :)
          Regards, Michael
