I'm guessing the "Save" is the little floppy icon at the (very) top left. "Save As" and such would probably be under the drop-down. The common Edit functions look like they're grouped under the clipboard thingie.
In the past I've hated the fact that each release of Office (and most MS software) keeps shuffling things around, but this time the changes look pretty radical, so it won't be confusing. Of course, this is all just guessing.

There was a good Baychi talk on the new Office 12 UI. You can download the video [baychi.org] if you're interested. It's worth watching if you're into UI stuff.
