  • The number of toxic chemcials in the average house cleaning arsenal is pretty impressive yet you rarely see any warning labels stronger than "use in a ventilated area" or with gloves. There's a similar product to Tilex called "X-14" that is the most noxious cleaning product I've ever encountered. Read the labels before purchase.

    For an air cleaner and filter, the safest thing to use is a solution of water with a wee bit of bleach in it. Tilex on that is like nuking lilliput.
