YAS Hosts Mozilla Developer Days

The Yet Another Society is hosting the Mozilla Developer Days at Carnegie Mellon University March 1-2, 2002. Seventy-five core developers will attend the event for collaboration and coordination of Mozilla activities.

  • I think this is great news, as it means that programming communities other than the Perl one get to have interesting, affordable conferences. Are there any plans for further diversification?

      The Mozilla project has a good deal of internal coherence, and it is pretty straightforward for us to extend infrastructure to fully functional groups like this working in collaboration. I expect there will be more YAS/Mozilla events in the future, and with whatever other projects seem to a) want it, b) be organized (or organizing), and c) meet the collaborative, open work criteria.
