August '04 D/FW Perl Mongers Meeting

Mr. Muskrat writes "I am pleased to announce that the next Dallas/Fort Worth Perl Mongers meeting will be held at 6:30 pm on August 24th. The location has not been finalized yet but check our website for updates.

Metallect has generously offered to sponser this meeting. They will take about fifteen minutes at the beginning of the meeting to introduce their company and solution. They will then turn it over to our speaker; none other than brian d foy."

  brian will be speaking on Module::Release, which, IIRC, was originally created by him and is now maintained by Andy Lester.

    I think the maintenance is back to me now. Andy has all sorts of other things going on :)

  Refreshments will be served during the meeting but we will retire to a local restaurant afterwards. :)
