POE 0.29 Released
dngor writes "POE 0.29 is released after three months and hundreds of human-hours of hard work. Thanks go out to everyone who helped make it possible. This release includes a substantial performance increase in I/O intensive programs. It improves portability to Solaris, Windows, and Mac OS X. It improves support for really old versions of Perl---you know, the one that work makes you use in production. Several documentation nits have been picked and stomped.

I just checked the ActiveState site and POE .29 is almost there. Apparently 'Filter' is having build problems, which means POE fails a dependency test. : \
